Nu är det jul igen
Nu är det jul igen is an old Christmas song originating in Scandinavia, and often sung when dancing around the Christmas tree. Lyrical, the song first states that Christmas lasts all the way until Easter, before mentioning that's not the case, since the fasting season comes between them.
Danish poet Mads Hansen from Vester Skerninge wrote a longer lyrics version, Nu har vi jul igen. The song was made popular when it was featured in the Academy Award Nominated animated short, Rejected made by Don Hertzfeldt during the famous "My Anus is Bleeding" part, which appears during the "Fluffy Guys" segment of the film.
