Nowshera Virkan (Urdu: نوشہره وِركاں), is a tehsil and large town west of the industrial city of Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan.
History
Nowshera Virkan is a HUB of rice growing Villages.It is one of the four Tehsils of District Gujranwala & lies in the center of three big cities namely Gujranwala, Hafizabad and Sheikhupura.
Education
Nowshehra Virkan has govt. owned degree colleges for boys and girls while there are number of privately owned educational institutes in the city.
Communication
Nowshehra Virkan is linked with Lahore and Kamonki via Tatlay Aali, while another highways connects it with Gujranwala, Rawalpindi/Islamabad which is known as Gujranwala road. Another road connects the city with Farooqabad. City has no rail link, the nearest railways stations are Gujranwala and Kamonki.
