Novatel Wireless, Inc. is a company providing wireless broadband access solutions for the Internet of Things. The company is perhaps best known for its MiFi family of Internet of Things devices such as mobile hotspots, fixed-mobile convergence solutions for data and voice, modules and vertical M2M solutions for mobile and asset tracking, in addition to SaaS and a number of other devices and solutions for the Internet of Things sold to wireless-network operators, distributors and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The product portfolio integrates wireless data technology and software.

Novatel Wireless makes 3G and 4G products. 3G technologies include UMTS/WCDMA with HSDPA (high-speed downlink packet access), HSUPA (high-speed uplink packet access), HSPA (high-speed packet access) and CDMA with EV-DO Revision 0 (Rev 0) and Revision A (Rev A). 4G technologies include LTE and WiMAX.

Partners include Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T.[1]
