Noura Al Kaabi
Noura Al Kaabi (Arabic: نورة الكعبي) is an Emirati who holds positions in business and public life. She is a member of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates[1] and CEO of twofour54 and of the Media Zone Authority Abu Dhabi.
Education
Al Kaabi was educated at Carlisle High School, UAE University and London Business School.
Career
Al Kaabi is a member of the Federal National Council of the UAE. She is the chief executive officer of the Media Zone Authority Abu Dhabi and of twofour54. She is on the board of Abu Dhabi Media,[2] Image Nation and Abu Dhabi Sports Council.[3] She is a member of the Advisory Board for Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation, and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award.[4]
Recognition
In 2013, Al Kaabi became the first Emirati[5] to be ranked on Foreign Policy Magazine's Top 100 Global Thinkers List, and was named one of the "50 individuals who contribute to changing the world" by Le Nouvel Observateur.[6] She was also one of Forbes Middle East's "30 Most Influential Women in Government" in 2013,[7] Arabian Business's "100 most powerful Arab Women" in 2011,[8] 2012[9] and 2013[10] and CEO Middle East’s "100 most powerful Arab Women" in 2012.[11] She received a “Young Achiever Award” at the AmCham Abu Dhabi’s Excellence Awards in 2014.[12]
