Notion is a newsstand music magazine and fashion magazine published quarterly in the United Kingdom. The magazine is owned by Attic London. The current Creative Director is stylist and editor Alexis Knox.
Contributors also write for other publications including The Guardian, Drowned In Sound, and The Huffington Post.
The magazine has a "front of book" section featuring fashion news and short articles. The backend of the magazine includes new releases (both singles and albums) and live concert reviews. The well of the magazine is devoted to photo shoots and interviews with up-coming and established pop acts and to fashion editorial shoots.
Acts to have been previously featured on the cover include Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Joey Badass, Bastille, Bruno Mars, and Jessie J.
Notion is distributed around newsstands including WH Smiths, as well as independent retailers around the United Kingdom.
Other media
Notion launched its website counterpart, PlanetNotion, in June 2005. This features online versions of some of the publication's print content, alongside bespoke digital content.
