Northfield School is a comprehensive secondary school in Billingham, north-east England.
History
It was established in 1972 on an original site occupying 40-acre (160,000 m2) on Thames Road, in the Wolviston Court area of Billingham. The school was awarded specialist Sports College status in 1999, and in 2008 was awarded a second specialism as a Training School.
In 2009/2010, it merged with Billingham Campus School, with both named Northfield School. However, in 2013 the former Campus site on Marsh House Avenue was closed down and the remaining intake transferred to an enlargened Thames Road site, with the Campus site earmarked for disposal.
