The northern long-eared bat (Nyctophilus daedalus) is a species of vesper bat. The northern long-eared bat occurs in northern Australia, ranging from western Queensland, the northern part of the Northern Territory and northern Western Australia (Pilbara and Kimberly).[1] High levels of morphological variation within Nyctophilus daedalus indicates that it is a composite of a number of distinct forms.[1]
