The NOrthern Extended Millimeter Array (NOEMA) is a twelve-antenna expansion of the Plateau de Bure Interferometer in the French Alps, operated by the Institut de radioastronomie millimétrique. The NOEMA project is currently funded for only 10 antennas but will already be the most sensitive millimeter array in the northern hemisphere. [1]
