North Portland Harbor

Coordinates: 45°36′55.42″N 122°42′5.35″W / 45.6153944°N 122.7014861°W The North Portland Harbor is an Oregon waterway or channel located in Multnomah County,[1] specifically in Portland, Oregon. It is a distributary of the Columbia River. Hayden Island is separated from the mainland by the waterway. At this point, the channel is traversed by the I-5 Bridge and the Oregon Slough Railroad Bridge. The BNSF Railway crosses North Portland Harbor over the rail bridge.[2]

The Oregon Slough Railroad Bridge is one of two bridges crossing the North Portland Harbor.

The official name registered with the United States Board on Geographic Names is North Portland Harbor, although historically other names have been applied. These include the "Oregon Slough" and "Hayden's Slough".
