North Port LRT Station is a proposed station on the Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2 (LRT-2). It is part of the LRT Line 2 West Extension. The LRT-2 west extension proposal calls for either a single-station (Divisoria only, a 1.62-kilometer extension) or 3-station (including Pier 4 and this station) 3.82-kilometer extension westward from Recto station.[1]
The station would be the third and last for trains headed west from Recto and the thirteenth for trains headed from Santolan. It would be located in front of North Port (Pier 14) in the Manila North Harbor near the Pacheco Gate in the intersection of Marcos Road (R-10) and Pacheco Street in Tondo, Manila.
Nearby landmarks
When completed, the station will be close to the Manila North Harbor, Sulpicio Lines terminal, Don Bosco Tondo Youth Center, Don Bosco Tondo Soccer Field, Tondo High School, Amado V. Hernandez Elementary School and a Philippine National Police Maritime Police station.
