NC 122 or North Carolina Highway 122 is highway about 30 miles long stretching from Macclesfield to Hobgood both in North Carolina. Along the way it meets its biggest town along the route, Tarboro. It goes under the US 64 freeway and into downtown. After merging with US 64 Alternative in downtown in goes back to the US 64 Freeway and meets with US 258. US 258, US 64, NC 111 and NC 122 all merge onto the same highway for about 1 mile before NC 122, NC 111, and US 258 get off on Mutual Blvd. (exit 486). NC 122 follows US 258 for about 4 miles before turning right and becoming its own road again. Before its northern terminus in Hobgood it meets up with the eastern terminus of NC 97 only about a quarter of a mile before its own ending at NC 125.
