North Branch Metedeconk River

The North Branch Metedeconk River (pronounced muh-TEE-duh-KUHNGK) is a 22.3-mile-long (35.9 km)[1] tributary of the Metedeconk River in southeastern New Jersey in the United States.[2]

Like many area streets, waterways and towns, Metedeconk is the original word or phrase used by the pre-European peoples of the area, the Lenape.[2]
