Norfolk Island was represented at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne by a 9-member strong contingent comprising 2 sportspersons and 2 officials.
Medals
Earl Dean Allan of Minto, New South Wales competed in the mixed Lawn Bowls as a transgender athlete, where he partnered Carmen Anderson, the first to represent Norfolk Island. He did not advance past the first round of the competition. Despite limited success, Allan become a champion for transgender lawn bowls athletes.
