Noorpur Ki Rani (Urdu: نورپو ر کی رانی) was a Pakistani teledrama which premiered on Hum TV on 25 April 2009.[1] Written by Pakistani author and screenwriter Samira Fazal, and directed by Haissam Hussain,[1] Noorpur Ki Rani was based on the English novel Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier.[1][2] The show telecasted its final episode on 3 October 2009.[1]
Noorpur Ki Rani was also broadcast in India on the channel Zindagi.[1] Its first episode was telecasted on 13 July 2014.[1][2] The show ended its run on Zindagi on 4 August 2014.

Controversy
Samira Fazal has been alleged to have plagiarised parts of her her drama serial Noorpur Ki Rani from Lucy Maud Montgomery's book, Anne of Green Gables.[3]
