Noct is an upcoming video game developed by Canada-based indie developer C3SK (the pseudonym of Chris Eskins) and published by Devolver Digital.
Plot
In the future, the earth is a ruined wasteland filled with darkness. An ancient evil, known as Nocturnal, suddenly reached earth, devouring the population and leaving the survivors of this purge at distress. Those now struggle to get over the terrors of the rotten wasteland, now known as Noct.
Gameplay
Noct is a 2D top-down multiplayer survival horror game that blends arcade combat with role-playing game survival elements. The player character is a survivor of the apocalyptic purge that formed the desolate wasteland, now known as Noct. The world is seen through a thermal image satellite system high above the Earth.[1]
Development
The game reached C$36,363 of a C$22,000 goal on Kickstarter, being founded on September 24, 2014.[2] The game was later greenlit via Steam Greenlight.[3] A prototype of the game was playable at PAX South 2015.[4]
