Noah Tepperberg

Noah Tepperberg (born August 15, 1975) is a co-founder of several New York nightclub and restaurant brands including Marquee, Tao, Avenue and Lavo.

Early career

In 1997, Noah Tepperberg and Jason Strauss founded Strategic Group running various events and venues. They included: Southampton staples Conscious Point (1999), Jet East (2002), and Dune (2007) as well as Manhattan boites Luahn (2000) and Suite 16 (2001).

In addition to his hospitality ventures, in 2001 Tepperberg, along with partner Jason Strauss formed Strategic Marketing Group (SMG), a lifestyle marketing, special events, consumer promotions, and public relations company.

Career Highlights

In 2003, Tepperberg and Strauss opened Marquee nightclub in New York City. Soon thereafter, the duo partnered with Tao Group founders Marc Packer and Rich Wolf to open TAO at The Venetian in Las Vegas. TAO features a nightclub as part of a 60,000-square-foot Asian city that contains a restaurant, lounge and eventually a beach club. They followed by opening LAVO Restaurant & Nightclub at The Palazzo Hotel Casino Resort in Las Vegas and added partner Lou Abin to the Tao Group in 2008. In May 2009 they introduced AVENUE, a "gastro lounge", in New York’s trendy Chelsea neighborhood. In September 2010, they opened LAVO Restaurant & Nightclub in New York. Together with his Tao Group partners, Noah opened Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve 2011.

In June 2011 they launched Dream Downtown Hotel in New York City where the team operates all of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets including room service, a 3 meal-a-day dining concept, Ph-D Rooftop Lounge, and Electric Room lounge. In March 2012, Tepperberg and his TAO Group partners made their first international foray with the debut of Marquee at The Star Casino & Hotel in Sydney Australia. In September 2013, the introduction of TAO Downtown in New York City.

Tepperberg is also a partner with Strauss, Francis Garcia and Sal Basille in a chain of pizzerias, Artichoke Basille’s, which currently has five locations as well as a frozen pizza line that sells in over 500 supermarkets and convenience stores in the tri-state region.

Personal

After graduating from Stuyvesant High School, Tepperberg earned a BBA degree in Business Management from the University of Miami and currently resides in New York City.
