Teamwork
Co-operative play with up to eight players.
Voice and Text Communications Limited by Distance
The further you are away the harder it is for other players to hear you. Keep those walkie talkies close!
Dynamic Objective Maps
The next playthrough may not be the same as the last!
Survival Mode
Defend and maintain your shelter against the undead in the hopes of getting extracted to a safe area.
A Realistic Approach
In short, no crosshairs with limited "only when you want it" HUD. In addition, ammo and weapons are extremely scarce. With that in mind, aim down your sights and shoot for the head!
Multitude of Different Opponents
Ranging from the iconic "walking zombie" to the more contemporary "runners", NMRiH will keep you on your toes with a mix of dangerous foes to face down. However, the most dangerous enemy may not always be the walking dead...
Infection
One bite may be what it takes to bring you down. If infected, you must decide if you want to alert your team to rid you of your burden, or to keep quiet in the hopes of finding a cure...
When playing you may find bottles of pills, Phalanx Pills. These will keep off the infection for all of 3 minutes, giving you precious time to escape, or find more. There is also one more thing you can find, the elusive Gene-Therapy. Very rare, and just as dangerous, this auto injector can do one of 3 things; Cure you, Cure you and make you highly immune, or kill you instantly. The only other option is to use your valuable 9mm and shoot yourself.
Pro Tip: Don't take any pills until your vision begins to fade, this will give you an extra 2 minutes before your next bottle.
Weapons
30+ weapons and counting, ranging from the diminutive .22 Target Pistol to the almighty Chainsaw.
No in-game store
No need to pay to win items.
Synopsis
"When there's no more room in hell, the dead will walk the earth."
A tribute to the highly acclaimed film series in which the above quote originated from, No More Room in Hell (PC Gamer's Mod of the Year 2011, ModDB's Editor Choice Multiplayer Mod of the Year 2011), is a co-operative realistic first person survival horror modification for the Source Engine. Taking inspiration from George Romero's "Of the Dead" series, the mod is set during a time in which the world is on the verge of collapsing into chaos from a disease whose origin is unknown. Many experts and organizations have their theories and ideas on how such a disease emerged and started to systematically destroy our very way of life, but one fact is clear to all. Whoever perishes from the disease gets up and kills, and the people they killed get up and kill.
The chances of you surviving this all out war of society and the undead are slim to none. Already, there are millions of the walking dead shambling about, searching for food to eat. There's no known cure. One bite can possibly end it all for you. However, you aren't alone in this nightmare. There are still a handful of uninfected survivors left in this god forsaken hellhole, and with co-operation and teamwork, you may live long enough to fight your way to salvation.[5]
Gameplay
As mentioned earlier, there is no HUD display on the screen if you are playing and no indication of health or ammo. Other players can see it through the coloured username. If the colour is green, this means the player has 100-70 HP (health points), yellow means the player has 70-40 HP, red means 40-1 HP. However, when you enter spectate mode the game allows you to see the spectated player's health. Up to 8 players can join the game, depending on the server, for it is a co-op game.
There are 2 map types in the game: Objective mode and Survival
Objective
In mission/objective mode, players must follow the instructions given by the game. They must find the rescue vehicle. It could either be: a train/metro, a helicopter or a tank. These vehicle differs in each map.
Survival
In Survival, players must survive a series of waves of zombies. The amount of zombies increase as the waves continue, making each wave harder. After to 8th-10th wave the game will bring in the rescue vehicle and the players must get to it in time. After every 2-3 rounds a supply helicopter comes around the players and drops a supply box where the players can unbox and use the items.

Awards
No More Room in Hell was named 'Mod of the Year' for 2011 by PC Gamer magazine, being featured in two issues in 2012.[2]
The mod was in the top 100 of Mod DB's 2011 Mod of the Year list and named Multiplayer Mod of the Year 2011.[8]
It has also been featured in Maximum PC in a two-page article about the mod, alongside two-page articles for both DayZ and The War Z in a special about the best of zombie games. NMRiH has also won the 2012 Mod of the Year from GameFront in a reader poll on Facebook. It was once again nominated in 2012 by users of ModDB for Mod of the Year, making it in to the Top 100 and subsequently placing 3rd in Player's Choice Mod of the Year. Since it failed to place higher than the previous year, attaining the same ranking as 2011, it did not make it in to the official Top Ten list and was supplanted by Cry of Fear. In 2013, it placed 2nd in the ModDB Mod of the Year award. [9]
