"No Matter What Shape (Your Stomach's In)" is an instrumental by short-lived American pop group The T-Bones. It was released in early 1966 as a single from their album No Matter What Shape (Your Stomach's In). The song was used in a commercial for Alka-Seltzer. The group later became Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds.
It reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100,[1] while the album hit number 75 on the Billboard 200.[2]
Session musician Hal Blaine played drums on the recording of this song.[3]
The song was covered by Booker T. & the M.G.'s on their album And Now! and Sandy Nelson on his album "In" Beat.
The menu music in the 2014 Warner Bros. video game Scooby Doo! & Looney Tunes Cartoon Universe is very similar and would seem to be based on this song.
