Nizhny Novgorod Stadium is a proposed football stadium which will be built in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia in time from 2001 to 2005 and rebuilt in 2008 for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. It will also host FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod of the Russian Premier League, replacing Lokomotiv Stadium. It will have a capacity of 44,899 spectators.[1]

History

This stadium former names is Nizhny Novgorod Indoor Arena (Russian: Нижний Новгород Крытый манеж) is the basketball arena in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia was built in 2005 and closed in 2007

In 2008 this arena rebuilt is Nizhny Novgorod Stadium by Vladimir Putin President of Russia founds in January 2008.
