Nithin Reddy popularly known as Nithiin is an Indian film actor, who works primarily for the Telugu film industry. He is from Nizamabad. He has acted in hit films like Jayam,Dil,Sye, and recently Ishq,[1] Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and Heart Attack. He won Filmfare Best Male Debut (South) for the film Jayam He is one of the leading actor of Telugu cinema with huge fan following. His recent hits Ishq, Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and Heart Attack were some of the biggest hits of the years 2012, 2013, and 2014. He is now gearing up to his next release Courier Boy Kalyan. He is a popular actor in India.
Early life
Nitin Reddy is a Tollywood film actor. His father N. Sudhakar Reddy is a popular film distributor and a producer in Nizam area. He acted in hit films like Jayam, Dil, and Sye. He was born on Nizamabad, Telangana to a film producer. He has a good relationship with Telugu Actor Pawan Kalyan. He stated many times that he is the biggest fan of Pawan Kalyan from his childhood and he loved watching him and remember even his every movie dialogues.
2002 and debut
In 2002, Nithin started his career with Teja directed blockbuster Jayam. He received the Best Male Debut Award at the Filmfare Awards South for this film.His first film was blockbuster Jayam with Gopichand andSadha. It garned him Debut awards with a grand debut. The movie was dubbed in Hindi as Phir hogi pyaar ki Jeet.
2003 to 2004
He acted in the film Dil, directed by V. V. Vinayak and produced by Dil Raju which boosted his career and was a big hit with Neha and Prakash Raj. Also in 2003, Nithin appeared in Sambaram which was his hit at box office but his Acting was highly praised. The movie also starred Nikitha. His next movie was Krishna Vamsi's box office hit Sri Anjaneyam with Arjun Sarja and Charmme Kaur and was remade in oriya too. The movie was dubbed in Hindi as My Boss Bajrangabali.This movie garned him "Santosham Best Young Performers Award". His next release that year was Telugu sports melodrama film Sye which was a box office hit that celebrated 365 days in one center. The story revolves around the team of Rugby. The film also stars Genelia D'souza. The film was dubbed in Hindi as "Aar-Par The Judgement Day".
2005 to 2006
His movie from 2005 to 2006 couldn't stand on the expectation. His first release was Allari Bullodu with his double role. The movie also stars Trisha Krishnan opposite Nithin. The movie was average at box office and was dubbed in Hindi as "Mawali-Ek Playboy". His next movie that year was not so successful "Dhairyam" which couldn't do well. His next release was Raam to good reviews but it was not so successful. The movie also stars Genelia D'Souza. The Movie was dubbed in Hindi as "Jeene do".
2007 to 2008
His first movie of 2007 was Takkari with Sadha for the second time. The movie was a remake of Thiruvilaiyaadal Aarambam starred Dhanush, Prakash Raj and Shriya in lead Roles. The movie was a hit. His next release on 2008 was Aatadista starring Kajal Aggarwal, Jayasudha, Nagababu and others. Directed by A S Ravi Kumar, it was produced by C Kalyan and S Vijayanand, and scored by Chakri. The film was released on 20 March 2008 to mixed reviews. RKD Studios have bought the rights of the film in Hindi. The movie was one of the biggest hit and was dubbed in Hindi as "Daring Gundaraaj". His next release that year was Victory directed by Ravi. C. Kumar, released in 2008. The film stars Mamta Mohandas, Shashank and Sindhu Tolani in lead roles. The film is produced by Venkat under R.R. Movie Makers. This film was dubbed in Hindi as Kabzaa - The Mafia Raaj. The film was a box office hit. His next release that year was Hero starring Bhavana, Ramya Krishna, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Brahmanandam, Nagendra Babu. The film opened to mixed Reviews and was a box office hit.
2009 to 2011
His first release of 2009 was Drona starring Priyamani, Kelly Dorjee, Mukhesh Rishi, Sita, Sunil, Raghubabu, directed by Karunakumar. Produced by DS Rao the movie turned out to be an average flick. His next Release that year was Agyaat a Bollywood horror film by Ram Gopal Varma starring Nitin Kumar Reddy, Gautam Rode, and Priyanka Kothari.The film was released on 7 August 2009.It was dubbed and released simultaneously in Telugu as Adavi. The film is shot at Sigiriya jungle in Sri Lanka. Upon release, the film received mixed reviews. However the film was box office hit. His next release that year was Rechipo starring Ileana D'Cruz in the lead roles. The film released on September 25, 2009. Later, it was dubbed into Tamil as Dhana and Hindi as Aaj ka Naya Khiladi. The film turned out to be box office average. His next release was 2010 movie Seeta Ramula Kalyanam directed by Eeshwar starring Nitin and Hansika Motwani. It was dubbed into Hindi as Dushmano Ka Dushman and into Tamil as Rowdy Kottai. Seeta Ramula Kalyanam Lankalo was an average grosser at the box office. His next release was delayed movie Maaro directed by Siddique and produced by Mamidala Srinivas and Venu M Konda under Sri Rajeshwari Films Banner. It stars Nitin and Meera Chopra in the lead roles. The film had been shot in 2005; and in 2006 the film was shelved. Now after a very long time, to cash in on director Siddique's recent success with Bodyguard .It is a remake of Siddhique'z Tamil movie "Sadhu Miranda". with actors Prasanna and Kavya Madhavan in the lead roles. which itself is inspired from Malayalam movie co-directed by Siddhique which was released in 1998. His was box office average.
2012 to 2013
His turning point on the film industry was 2012 film Ishq written and directed by Vikram Kumar. The film was produced by Vikram Goud under Shresht Movies banner. The film features Nitin and Nithya Menen in the lead, with Ajay in a pivotal role. Cinematography for the film was handled by P. C. Sreeram and the music was composed by Anoop Rubens. Ishq released on 24 February 2012 to positive reviews and became Highest grossing list of 2012. A Bengali remake of this movie named Love Station starring Bappy Chowdhury and Mishti Jannat was released on 5 September 2014. The movie was Actors one of the biggest hit and this movie was also the YouTube success movie. In Nepal too, The movie was popular. Not only this but also his 2013 release Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde written and directed by Vijay Kumar Konda. The film was produced by N. Nikitha Reddy under Sresht Movies banner. The film features Nitin, Isha Talwar and Nithya Menen in the lead role. Indian badminton player Jwala Gutta made her debut in a special appearance with this film. The title of this movie is taken from a song from Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh. The story is about a carefree techie Karthik who falls in love with a girl named Sruthi at first sight in a friend's wedding. He manages to get Sruthi's phone number and woos her, but later discovers that he has called the wrong girl Sravya, the daughter of a rich businessman who is very romantic and wants to get married to a guy who loves her for her character and not money. This leads to some twists and surprises and further complications with Sruthi's lover Madhu suspecting Karthik. The consequences faced by these four forms the rest of the story. The film was declared Successful at the Box office, emerging as Nitin's consecutive hit after Ishq, also starring Nithya Menen. The movie brought a new technique for love. Itwas released in 2013, grossing over 45 crores in the span of 100 days.
2014 to Present
His recent Puri Jagannath's Heart Attack which is received extreme positive reviews from critics.The film got 21 crore Pre-release revenue.written, directed and produced by Puri Jagannadh under the Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies. The film stars Nithiin and Adah Sharma in lead roles. In 38 Theaters, Across A.P. Anoop Rubens composed the soundtrack for the film. The film released on 31 January 2014 worldwide to mixed reviews from the critics. Heart Attack grossed 500 million (US$7.9 million) in 50 Days. The movie was one of the biggest hit of 2014 Nitin got paid 4 crores for Heart attack and now he takes a remuneration of 6 crores after positive response of the film.[2] He also had release Chinnadana Nee Kosam is a Telugu romantic comedy film written and directed by A. Karunakaran. The film features Nithiin and Mishti in the lead roles marking the latter's debut in Telugu cinema. The film was produced by Nithiin's father N. Sudhakar Reddy and sister Nikhita Reddy under the banner Sresht Movies. Harsha Vardhan wrote the film's dialogues. Anoop Rubens composed the film's soundtrack and background score. I. Andrew and Prawin Pudi were the film's cinematographer and editor respectively.
