Nisha Ganatra (born in Vancouver, British Columbia) is a Canadian film director, film producer, writer and actress of Indian ancestry. She is most well known for her acclaimed films Chutney Popcorn and Cosmopolitan, and for directing three of the ten episodes of the Golden Globe–winning TV series Transparent.
Biography
Ganatra graduated from the New York University (NYU) Tisch School of the Arts. She is openly lesbian.[1][2]
