Niraj Goel (Born 1969) is an Indian businessman, currently based in Hong Kong. He is hailed as India’s youngest self-made multi billionaire. He completed his education in India, graduating with a degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh. He has also received his MBA, from Newport University.[1]

According to his Google plus page, he works an average of 100 hours a week, sleeps only an hour a day and practices meditation daily.

Niraj Goel has spent 28 years in R&D of Probability Generator, Dukandari Approach To Algos, and Timing Technology Beyond Technical Analysis. He founded SIL (Singapore Innovation League) and has invested into many many companies under Goel Ventures. Some of his investments are SIL which further includes apps like YAY, and Clone Algo.

Early life

Niraj Goel was born in Nabha, Punjab in 1969. He received his early education from Bishop Cotton School, Shimla. After completing his bachelor’s in Panjab University Chandigarh, he moved abroad for work. In 1993, he also received a MBA in Marketing from Newport University.

Career

He has been associated with the finance technology industry since 1988. He has spent his time developing financial technologies as well as investing into the Innovation of Intellectual Properties. He has been credited with about 50 Innovations in the Financial technology and Insurance sectors.

He has been the president of Clone Algo Inc,[2] a company based in Las Vegas (Nevada), since August 1988.

He has also been the Chairman of Dragon Holdings AG since 2010; and currently sits on their supervisory board. His innovation and applied technology, led to him creating a vertically integrated company under Dragon Holdings AG. He is also credited with inventing applications for Dragon Holdings such as the Group Algorithm Profitability Generator (GAPG) as well as risk management systems.

Business Ventures

His first business venture was established in 1988, while he was still in college.

Niraj is the founder of various companies such as Dragon Holdings and Clone Algo Inc,[3][4]

Mr. Goel's business ventures include Dragon Holdings in Germany which is listed in Berlin Stock exchange under the ticker symbol DRA.[5] The ADR of Dragon Holdings ticker DRGHY is listed in the USA.[6] He also founded Clone Algo Technologies Inc which develops web applications and different new media technologies. Some of the famous projects are YAY (human communications), Clone Algo (Social Trading App).[7]

Research and Development

It is the technology behind identifying which trading option has the highest potential for success and maximum returns. the technology deploys algorithms based on artificial intelligence, which analyses available data to assess the odds of success from buying and selling of various financial instruments. Mr. Geol has done extensive research in developing probability generator tools that yield accurate results by spot-on prediction of possible outcomes.

This is another field in which Niraj Goel has done research work. Under dukandari approach, Mr. Goel worked on achieving specialization in various trading fields such as commodity (crude oil, gold), and foreign exchange. For each field, Goel has developed specialized algorithmic trading tools that initiate trading order in a particular field only.

Timing technology works on identifying when the worth of a particular financial instrument is likely to rise and when it would plummet. By implementing timing technology traders manage risk and accordingly deploy investment strategy. The technology takes into account various factors that go on to influence fluctuations in trading industry.

Philanthropy

Niraj Goel is an active philanthropist and a humanitarian. He is associated with several charitable organizations. Niraj is the founder of three Trusts, namely the Goel’s Foundation Trust, Goel’s Healthcare Foundation Trust, and Goel’s Senior Citizens Foundation Trust, to help various sections of the society.

The Goel’s Foundation Trust is aimed at helping the under-privileged children to receive education; the Goel’s Healthcare Foundation Trust is set up to help poor people to receive quality healthcare, and the Goel’s Senior Citizens Foundation Trust for helping the aged men and women. On July 4, 2014 he launched “The Singapore Innovation League”. The league has been created to help technology start-ups that display potential. He has pledged a total of SGD 1.50 billion to this project. The league is set to help 500 technological corporations in their start-up phase.

Niraj received the Sales growth Award Singapore 2009, which was given to him by Lee Yi Shyan for his company StrategyLand Research Limited.[8]

He has also been shortlisted for the Talent Unleashed Awards 2014.[9]
