Nimmakuru
Nimmakuru (Telugu: నిమ్మకూరు) is a village in Krishna District Andhra Pradesh.[1] It is the birthplace of N.T.Rama Rao.[2] Sivalayam is famous temple.Name of the lord siva is Ganga parvathi sametha Bhudeswara swamy.
This is the birthplace of tollywood actors Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao(NTR), Gadde Rajendra Prasad and Nandamuri Harikrishna. This is a Village situated in Pamarru mandal, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA.
NIMMAKURU is 60 km from Vijayawada. It is towards Machilipatnam.
This Village have population of roughly 4000 people.
1) Andhra Pradesh Residential Junior College (APRJC) is there in NIMMAKURU. Students come from different parts of the country for studies.
2) Mahila Pranganam - This is govt organisation which gives training for woman and creates self-employment for them.
3) Govt Hospital - There is govt hospital in this village which treats people not only from this village but also from other surrounding villages.
4) Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple - There's Lord Venkateswara Temple which is constructed by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam) and affiliated to Kanaka Durgamma Temple Vijayawada.
Most of the people depend on Agriculture for their livelihood. The main cultivation is paddy and there are seasonal crops to cultivate black gram and green gram.
Diary and Poultry Farms also exists and is the main income for some families.
There is only one bank Andhra Bank which is offering financial services to the local and surrounding village people.
