Nilus of Constantinople
Nilus, surnamed Kerameus, was the Orthodox Patriarch of Constantinople between 1380 and 1388.
He was an intellectual and struggled for the faithful maintenance of the ecclesiastical rules. He mediated between John V and his son Andronikos IV Palaiologos.
He wrote many works and during his Patriarchy published many synodical acts.
