Nikole Beckwith

Nikole Beckwith is a Massachusetts born actress and playwright; until 2006 Beckwith lived in Newburyport, Massachusetts where she was integral to the theater, music and art communities and in 2004 became the youngest recipient of The Johnson Award for excellence in and contributions to the arts in the Merrimack Valley. Primarily an Actor and Playwright, she has also performed live with a handful of bands and sings on Tiger Saw's 2005 record "Sing!"[1] and Sam Rosen's 2006 release "The Look South".[2] She is also the author of the short book of poems "Rhymes With Blue" which was released in a limited run by Independent Submarine[3] in 2001.

She lives in New York where in 2006 she was a three time Manhattan Monologue Slam[4] champion and is currently a member of Ensemble studio theatre's YoungBlood[5] playwright's group and The Striking Viking Story Pirates.[6] Her screenplay Stockholm, Pennsylvania won a 2012 Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting.[7][8]
