Niekłończyca [ɲekwɔɲˈt͡ʂɨt͡sa] (formerly German: Königsfelde) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Police, within Police County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-west of Police and 23 km (14 mi) north of the regional capital Szczecin.

History

First references to Niekłończyca (Königsfelde) came from 1750. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany.[2] Niekłończyca, known as Königsfelde to its residents while part of Germany from 1815–1945, became part of Poland after the end of World War II and changed its name to the Polish Niekłończyca.[2]
