Nidamanuru is a village in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh, India.[2] It is located on the outskirts of Vijayawada city on National Highway 5 at a distance of about 9 km from the Vijayawada Airport at Gannavaram. Nidamanuru Railway station is serving Passengers going from Nidamanuru to places like Gudivada, Machilipatnam and Narsapur. It has good Road transport facility with local city buses(145,79(E,B),8,116) running towards Kondapalli, Vijayawada, Gannavaram, etc. The landmarks for this village are the Delhi Public School[3] and Sri Chaitanya junior College located on National highway NH 5.Other schools in nidamanuru are Z.P.P.H high school and M.P.P school run by the state Govt. authority. Nidamanuru is home to best price (a Bharti-Walmart initiative); first super market in south India for the above brand. Etymology
Nidamanuru as a word can be construed as a Portmanteau of three Telugu words, Nida (నిడ, "centre"), Manu(మాను, "tree") and ooru(ఊరు "village").
The name Nidamanuru literally means "Village with a tree at it's center".

According to the 2011 census, the village has a population of about 8210, with 4135 males, and 4075 females, the village has 2070 households
Geography
The Ryve’s canal, that originates from the Krishna river[5] flows through the village[6] and is the main source of irrigation water.[7]
