Nick Stephens (born May 19, 1987) is an American football quarterback who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Tennessee and Tarleton State.

College career

Stephens arrived in Knoxville in 2006 and was redshirting for the Volunteers. He did not see the playing field as a redshirt freshman in 2007. In 2008, he started six of the seven games he played in completing 63 of 130 passes for 840 yards and 4 TDs. He started the season throwing his first 106 passes without an INT. In 2009, he backed up QB Jonathan Crompton, completing 9 of 13 passes for 142 yards and 1 TD. In 2010, Stephens transferred to Tarleton State and appeared in eight games, completing 132 of 258 passes for 1,774 yards and 9 TDs. In 2011, he started all 11 games as a senior, throwing for 3,005 yards and 29 TDs on 242 of 429 passes. Stephens finished in the Top 10 in eight single-season categories for QBs at Tarleton State.

Pro career

Tennessee Titans

Signed with the Titans on 4/30/2012 as a rookie free agent and attended offseason workouts and took part in the training camp before being waived on 8/26/2012.

Dallas Cowboys

Signed with Cowboys on 12/31/12 and attended offseason workouts and took part in the training camp before being waived on 8/27/2013.

Baltimore Ravens

Signed with the Ravens' practice squad on 10/30/13.

Stephens was waived by the Ravens on May 30, 2014. [1]
