Nick Scali Furniture is a publicly listed, Australian company that retails and imports furniture such as lounges, dining tables, coffee tables, chairs and entertainment units. It was founded in 1962 by Nick D. Scali.[2]

The company specialises in leather and fabric lounges, as well as dining room and bedroom furniture. It imports more than 3,000 containers of furniture per year worldwide, and has distribution centres all across Australia.[3]

Nick Scali Furniture's core brands include Nick Scali brand, Sofas2Go and Chateau d’Ax. Nick Scali Furniture secured the Australasian rights for the premium Italian retail brand Chateau d’Ax.[4]

The retailer is involved in contributing to a wide range of charities within the community as part of its policies on responsible corporate governance.[5]

Nick D. Scali, the founder of Nick Scali Furniture, continues to serve as a consultant to the company and is considered to be a pioneer and innovator in the import and retail of furniture in Australia. His son, Nicky Scali, joined the company in 1991 and now oversees the operation of the company’s information technology systems, related support contracts and is responsible for the national retail sales teams and advertising media and creative strategies.[6]
