Nguyễn Sinh Hùng (born 18 January 1946) is Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam. Since a party congress in 2011, he has been considered one the country's four "key leaders" (lãnh đạo chủ chốt), along with Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng, President Trương Tấn Sang and Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng.[1]
Hùng was standing deputy prime minister (first deputy prime minister) from 2006 to 2011.[2] Previously the finance minister,[3] He served as head of the State Treasury.[4] The 2011 congress selected a Politburo, or executive committee; Hùng is ranked #4 on its list of members.[5]
