It uses CryEngine 3 and it is based on the original free game called Nexuiz (which is described as Nexuiz Classic by IllFonic[1]), developed by Alientrap. It is a fast-paced arena first-person shooter in futuristic, Victorian style theme.[2] The servers for the Xbox 360 and PC versions were taken offline in February 2013 due to the closure of THQ.[3]
