The Newport American Legion Community Hut is located in Remmel Park, north of Remmel Avenue, in Newport, Arkansas. It was built in 1934 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. It served historically as a meeting hall, as a single dwelling, and as a civic building.[1]
The NRHP listing included two contributing buildings on a 1.5-acre (0.61 ha) property.[1]
