Newfund

Newfund is a private equity firm in Paris, France. It started activity in 2008 and raised more than 100 million euro for investments in high-growth-potential companies and service innovators.^[1] As of September 2014, its portfolio included investments in 32 start-ups in France and the U.S., up from 20 in late 2013.^[2]

• Medtech, a robotic surgery company that developed the ROSA robot and went public on Euronext Paris in November 2013^[10]
• Monbento, a lifestyle company whose trademark bento boxes were nominated for Best Product Design award at the 2014 International Home + Housewares Show^[11][12]
• Red Luxury, a smartwatch designer ^[13]

Team

François Véron created Newfund in 2008 after a decade of private equity investment experience.^[14] Newfund's other partners include Patrick Malka^[15] and Charles-Antoine Morand.^[16]
