New York International Children's Film Festival
The New York International Children's Film Festival (NYICFF) is an annual Oscar-qualifying[1] event that seeks to "promote intelligent, passionate, provocative cinematic works for ages 3–18 and to help define a more compelling film for kids".[2] It was founded in the late 1990s by Eric Beckman. It is the largest film festival for children and teenagers in the United States.[3] NYICFF is produced by film distribution company GKIDS.[4] In addition to the annual three-week-long festival in March, NYICFF provides year-round programming with monthly presentations at various New York City theaters.[5]
