New Party (Brazil)
The New Party (Partido Novo) is a Brazilian political party founded on 12 February 2011. It is in the process of being registered at the Tribunal Superior Eleitoral.
The register request was performed on 23 July 2014, with the delivery of 493,316 signatures from citizens supporting its creation. The party now awaits the acceptance of this request. The party requested to use the number "30" for elections purposes.
Ideology
The New Party believes that the government's power should not overcome the citizen's power. It means that the politician's powers to interfere in the individual's life should decrease in favor of a more democratic and free society. The main ideas of the New Party are:[1]
