New Morning (stylized as NEW MORNING) is the eleventh studio album by Japanese R&B singer Misia. It is her first studio album in three years, following 2011's Soul Quest. Preceded by the singles "Shiawase o Forever" and "Boku wa Pegasus Kimi wa Polaris", New Morning was released in Japan on April 2, 2014.[1] Lead track "Hope & Dreams" was also made available as a pre-order bonus on the iTunes Store and mora. The album was also made special releases on the two stores, with a mastering for iTunes and a FLAC release on mora.
To celebrate the release, Misia held a concert at Tokyo's Bunkamura Orchard Hall titled "Lawson Presents Misia Hoshizora no Live VII: 15th Celebration Thank you 15, Happy 16" (LAWSON presents MISIA 星空のライヴVII ~15th Celebration Thank you 15, Happy 16~), serving as her 77th live performance on the "Hoshizora no Live VII" arena tour.[2] This concert was also broadcast live on YouTube.
