The Nevada State Musueum in Carson City

The Nevada State Museum in Carson City^[1] is one of six Nevada State Museums operated by the Nevada Department of Cultural Affairs. The primary building of the Museum is the former Carson City Mint. The exhibits include

• The world's largest exhibited Columbian Mammoth,^[2] found in the Black Rock Desert.
• The silver service from the USS Nevada.^[3]

The museum also has the Spirit Cave mummy, which is the oldest North American mummy.^[4]
