The Netherlands competed at the 1998 UCI Road World Championships, held from Tuesday October 6 to Sunday October 11 in Valkenburg aan de Geul, Netherlands. The championships consisted of a road race and a time trial for: elite men, elite women, men under-23, junior men and junior women.[1] The country sent a team of 42 cyclists.
