Neon Future I is the second studio album by Japanese-American DJ and producer Steve Aoki.[4][5] It was released on September 30, 2014 through Ultra Records and Dim Mak Records.[6]
Singles
The album was preceded by the release of four singles. The first two singles, "Rage The Night Away" and "Delirious (Boneless)", were the only two to be given additional remixes. Both tracks also feature in the original motion picture soundtrack of the 2014 film Step Up: All In.
Neon Future II
A second part of the album is scheduled to be released on May 12, 2015. The second installment was finished around the same as the first. While part 1 contains more party-themed/club-styled songs, part 2 is supposed to show a "darker", more "emotional" side of the Neon Future theme.[7] It will include the song "Darker Than Blood", which features Linkin Park.[8][9] The song is their second collaboration after "A Light That Never Comes". The song was first revealed in an interview with Billboard,[10] and will be released as a single on April 14, 2015.[11] It will also feature collaborations with DJ Fresh, Tinie Tempah, and Tony Junior.
