In 2002-03, Duffy moved to Dumbarton, where he stayed until retiring in 2004. His time T Dumbarton provided his one and only red card which came in his last ever appearance. During his career, he was twice requested to play for South African National side by the manager, however he was blocked both times due to his race. After several years coaching at Ayr United's youth Academy, Duffy now works full-time as a Medical Rep and coaches Troon Juniors U19s.
