Neelapalli is the major panchayat village in Thallarevu mandal in East Godavari district.
The Nelapalli revenue previously combined in Georgepeta Panchayath and it was separated from Georgepeta revenue in the year 1972. In olden days, this village was used for minting coins by French people for Yanaon presidency.
