Need for Speed: No Limits is a 2015 video game for iOS and Android, and a mobile installment in the Need for Speed video game series, developed by Firemonkeys Studios and published by Electronic Arts.[1] It is the franchise's first original title made exclusively for mobile devices, unlike past mobile games in the series that were simply adaptations of various Need for Speed games. Need for Speed: No Limits is officially endorsed by the professional rally driver Ken Block, who also takes part in the official game trailer.[2] The game is currently exclusive in Taiwan and the Netherlands release for iOS on January 6, 2015, and in the Netherlands release for Android on February 17, 2015 until the worldwide launch.[3][4]
Gameplay
Need for Speed: No Limits has a heavy focus on street racing, vehicle customization, and avoiding the police.[3][5]
Development
The game was developed by Firemonkeys Studios and was published by Electronic Arts. The game was released on iOS on January 6, 2015, but only on Taiwan and the Netherlands, the only language it had was Dutch, as an Alpha version for early testing, later on was released on Android on February 17, 2015, as a Beta version, and was still only available on Dutch, the Worldwide launch is going to be in English, and with a better compatibility with quad-core or even octa-core devices that are crashing in the current version, or they are simply not compatible at all regardless the country you are in.
