Nayuta no Kiseki (那由多の軌跡 Nayuta no Kiseki, Trails of Nayuta) is an action-RPG developed by Nihon Falcom for PlayStation Portable.
The game is not part of The Legend of Heroes series, but it uses some features from Kiseki series, such as name of units of measurement, currency, spells and arts.
Gameplay
The game is an action-RPG with gameplay similar to Ys and Zwei II. Besides the physical attacks, there are other types of actions: Skills (sword skills), Arts ("Magic") and Craft (powerful special abilities).
The game also features platforming elements like Ys: The Oath in Felghana.
Plot
Story
The game happens in a world called Lost Heaven. The characters' hometown is Remnant Island, an island located in the center of Sciencia Sea, a vast ocean with countless islands. Shooting stars have been continually falling from the sky for some time, leaving much of these piled up on the island. Stones known as "Star Fragments" have been discovered in these areas. By shining a light on them in a certain way, people can see the phantom world of Lost Heaven.
Characters
- Nayuta Herschel: the main character, he is a 15 year old whose hobby is astronomical observation and navigation. His desire is to explore the world and solve its mysteries.
- Noi: a 30 centimeter tall fairy-like girl with pink hair in pigtails who uses gearcrafts.
- Signa Alhazan: a swordmaster from a mercenary group and Nayuta's friend.
- Orbus Alhazan: Nayuta and Signa's swordsmanship teacher. He serves as a bodyguard on Remnant Island. He moved to Remnant Island six years ago. He is adoptive of Signa. Before that, nothing is known about him.
- Eartha Herschel: Nayuta's older sister and enjoys the study of Star Fragments. She is a skilled cook and is well liked by the people of Remnant Island.
