Naxibacter haematophilus is a gram-negative, rod-shaped oxidasepositive and non-spore-forming bacteria which was isolated from clinical specimens and water samples.[3]

Etymology

Naxibacter haematophilus comes from the Greek noun haem (-atosa), which means "blood", and the Greek adjective philos, which means "loving", because the strain was isolated from blood.[4][5]
