Dato' Ir. Haji Nawawi Ahmad (born 3 May 1961) is a Malaysian politician. He is the member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the seat of Langkawi, Kedah. Before his election in 2013, he served two terms as the member of the Kedah State Legislative Assembly for Kuah. A member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), he is the head of the party's Langkawi division.[1][2]
In 2014, Nawawi apologised to the family of Karpal Singh, a leading opposition politician who had died in a car accident, for posting photos of Karpal's corpse on Facebook.[3][4]
