Naugarh is a Tehsil and the district headquarters of Siddharthnagar district in Uttar Pradesh, India. It is one of the 5 Vidhan Sabha constituencies in Siddharthnagar district. The name of this constituency has been renamed to Kapilvastu.
Demographics
As of 2011, the India census has stated that the total population of Nuagarh is 8931.[1][2] Males constitute about 53 percent (11,570) and females 47 percent (10,361) of the total population. Notable individuals of the city include Late Haji Noorul Haque (Old Naugarh Bazar).
