Natsumi Hoshi (born August 21, 1990 in Saitama, Saitama, Japan) is a Japanese swimmer who competes in the Women's 100 metre butterfly.[2] At the 2012 Summer Olympics she finished 23rd overall in the heats in the Women's 100 metre butterfly and failed to reach the final. In the 200 metre butterfly she won her first Olympic medal, taking bronze.[3] Hoshi studied sports science at Waseda University in Tokyo and enjoys shopping in her spare time.[2]
