National Cyber Crime Unit
The National Cyber Crime Unit (NCCU) is a sub-organization of the National Crime Agency in the United Kingdom.[1] The unit combines the Police Central E-Crime Unit (PCeU) of the Metropolitan Police Service and the cyber division of the Serious Organised Crime Agency and is one of four current commands of the agency which looks at the growing use of cyber crime and ways to identify it.[2]
The current head of the NCCU is Dr Jamie Saunders, formally of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), where from January 2012, he was director of international cyber policy.[3]
