National Bullying Helpline

The National Bullying Helpline was an organisation established by David and Christine Pratt, promising to service the needs of victims of bullying. The helpline is based in Swindon, Wiltshire and is just one of several constituent parts of the HR Diversity Group company.

Today The National Bullying Helpline operates as part of David and Christine Pratt's HR Diversity Group. That Group comprises; a) HR & Diversity Management Limited HR Management, b) The National Bullying Helpline and c) The eCRIME Website

In February 2010, the helpline came under fire when following allegations by Andrew Rawnsley that Gordon Brown had bullied members of his staff, Christine Pratt, one of the co-founders of the helpline, claimed that employees from central government had called the helpline from time to time. If such calls had occurred, this would have been a major breach of confidentiality on the part of Christine Pratt, and investigations were made.

Further controversy came when it was revealed that Christine Pratt herself had been involved in racist bullying of another staff member, and that the National Bullying Helpline itself was under investigation by the Charity Commission for submitting accounts late, taking advantage of its clients through exhorting money, and finding clients for David Pratt's HR company.[1][2]
