National Astronomy Meeting

The National Astronomy Meeting is an annual meeting of astronomers in the United Kingdom. It is one of the largest professional astronomy conferences in Europe.[1] It is affiliated with, and sponsored by, the Royal Astronomical Society.

History

The National Astronomy Meetings developed out of the 'out-of-town' RAS meetings that first took place in 1948. They have been running under the name "National Astronomy Meeting" since the early 1990.[2]
